Job Description

itec has partnered with a leading provider of innovative OEM equipment solutions in their search for a Field Service Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of Field Service Technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of OEM equipment at customer sites.
  • Plan and coordinate daily service activities to ensure efficient deployment of resources and timely completion of service requests.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and mentorship to develop the skills and capabilities of the service team.
  • Manage service schedules and prioritize assignments based on customer needs and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Engineering and Sales, to address technical issues, customer requirements, and service improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and procedures during service operations.
  • Prepare and review service reports, including documentation of work performed, parts used, and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Supervisor or similar leadership role, preferably in the OEM equipment industry.
  • Strong technical background in troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate customer requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
