Job Description

Our Niagara-based customer is actively recruiting for two Automation Specialists to join the team.    The Automation Specialist will be responsible for programming, implementing, and maintaining Allen Bradley control systems within a heavy industrial environment. This role requires expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development, SCADA systems knowledge would also be an asset.   Responsibilities:  
  • Develop PLC programs using Allen Bradley RSLogix software suite.
  • Configure HMIs for operator interface and system monitoring.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with control systems to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular maintenance activities to ensure the reliability of automation equipment.
? Qualifications: 
  •  Electrical Technician Diploma or Licensed Electrician
  • Proven experience in PLC programming with Allen Bradley ControlLogix or CompactLogix platforms.
  • Proficiency in HMI development using Allen Bradley FactoryTalk View or similar software.
  • Familiarity with heavy industrial processes such as manufacturing, mining, or utilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
