Automation Specialist 

Our client, an industry leading manufacturer is seeking to add two a proven Automation Specialists to their team for a permanent job opportunity in Oakville, ON.

Reporting to the Automation Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for programming of Automation and Robotic equipment.

The Automation Specialist job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • PLC programming (AB & Omron)

  • Robotics Programming (Fanuc & Motoman)

  • Working knowledge Vision Systems

  • Liaison with directly with customers and all levels of internal team

 Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma (Electrical)

  • A min of of 5 years of Controls Engineering experience in a custom Automation environment 

  • Previous experience with Electrical Design

  • Previous experience with requirements definition, technical documentation and participation in technical design reviews

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
