Join a growing manufacturing team where you'll play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting automated production equipment. Your expertise in PLCs, robotics, and industrial automation will be essential in maximizing equipment uptime and supporting a high-efficiency manufacturing environment.
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Troubleshooting and repairing automated production equipment, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, and related control systems.
Diagnosing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on automated manufacturing equipment.
Performing preventative and predictive maintenance on automated production lines.
Supporting production by responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
Troubleshooting PLC programs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar) to identify and resolve system faults.
Performing robot troubleshooting, recovery, and minor programming adjustments (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, or similar).
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical documentation.
Assisting with equipment installations, upgrades, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects.
Collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve equipment reliability and process efficiency.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records while following all safety standards and company procedures.
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLCs and industrial automation systems.
Experience troubleshooting and supporting industrial robotics.
Strong understanding of electrical controls, sensors, VFDs, servo systems, and HMI interfaces.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Requirements:
Industrial Electrician (442A/309A) or Engineering Technologist diploma is considered an asset.
Experience within automotive, food & beverage, packaging, or general manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, FANUC, ABB, or similar automation platforms.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Experience supporting continuous improvement and equipment optimization initiatives.

Salary Range:$30.00/hr – $38.00/hr
