itec group is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer on behalf of a leading manufacturing client in the Cambridge area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization that invests in advanced manufacturing technologies and offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for precision-machined components.
Develop tooling, setup sheets, and machining strategies to maximize productivity and quality.
Support machining operations by troubleshooting programming and manufacturing issues.
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve manufacturing processes.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and increase efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience programming CNC mills and/or lathes using Mastercam.
Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, and cutting parameters.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience with multi-axis machining is considered an asset.
Aerospace manufacturing experience is considered a strong asset.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Location: Cambridge, ON Salary: $40.00 – $50.00/hour
