Job Description


We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead our client's financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of their financial reporting. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for operational finance, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Oversight: Manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support our manufacturing operations.

  • Hands-On Leadership: Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Cost Management: Analyze production costs, identify inefficiencies, and recommend strategies to optimize profitability and reduce waste.

  • Operational Partnership: Collaborate with manufacturing and operational leaders to provide financial insights that inform decision-making and enhance operational performance.

  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring all necessary documentation and processes are in place for seamless audits.

  • Team Development: Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in cost accounting and financial management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with [specific software] is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across departments.
