Job Description

CONTROLS SPECIALIST  
Itec group is currently recruiting for an experienced Controls Specialist for a client of ours in the GTA.
 
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Program, configure, and integrate PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA  systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to commission new equipment and systems, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
  • Troubleshoot control system failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Experience with PLC's
  • Experience building HMI/SCADA
  • Robotics is a benefit
  • Knowledge of Rockwell/Allen Bradley and/or Siemens
  • Ability to travel
