We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as a Quality Manager.
This role will play a critical part in driving quality excellence across operations, ensuring compliance with automotive standards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact customer satisfaction and business performance.
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Leading and managing the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with automotive standards (IATF 16949).
Overseeing internal and external audits, including customer and third-party audits.
Driving root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Managing customer quality concerns, including warranties, returns, and corrective actions.
Leading and mentoring quality engineers, technicians, and inspectors.
Collaborating with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve product and process quality.
Monitoring key quality metrics and reporting performance to senior leadership.
Supporting APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan activities.
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality leadership role.
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA), and ISO standards.
Experience leading audits and managing customer quality requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills using structured methodologies (8D, A3, etc.).
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Requirements:
Post-secondary education in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.
CQE or other quality-related certifications.
Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments.
Hands-on experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Location: Hamilton, Ontario Salary Range: $115,000 – $130,000 + Bonus
