Job Description

Our client based in the Niagara region currently requires an experienced Electrical Designer

Position Overview:
Electrical Designer specializing in Eplan is responsible for developing detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for various projects, with a focus on industrial automation, control systems, and electrical panels. Utilizing Eplan software, the designer collaborates closely with engineering teams to create comprehensive electrical documentation that meets technical requirements, industry standards, and client specifications. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with engineers and project stakeholders to conceptualize and develop electrical designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts, using Eplan software.
  • Interpret technical specifications, equipment lists, and control narratives to create detailed electrical documentation that supports project objectives and requirements.
  • Design electrical systems, circuits, and components for industrial machinery, automation systems, and control panels.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Designer or similar role, with demonstrated expertise in Eplan software.
  • Proficiency in Eplan for electrical design, schematics development, and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, control systems, and circuit design.
