Job Description

Mechanical Engineer - Building Systems - Toronto,ON

Our client is a well known engineering consulting company based in Downtown Toronto with over a decade in the building consulting industry.

They are looking to expand their Sr. Engineering staff. This is a growth opportunity as they expand, they require direct concept development and project collaboration with clients.

The Primary responsibilities:

Meet developers, Owners, Architects and Contractors to develop design concepts
Liaise with Clients, develop client relationships with key stakeholders,
Develop plan, schedule, budget and BID with clients
Conduct site visits during the construction phase
Complete engineering calculations schematics, equipment selection and system selection in buildings
Mechanical calculations, MEP systems

Qualifications

Mechanical Engineering Degree from recognized University
Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng)
10 years’ experience within Engineering Consulting firm
Engineering design with Ontario Building Code
