Our customer is a growing industrial electrical contractor providing electrical installation, service, and project support across a range of industrial and commercial environments.
The Electrical Foreman will oversee electrical installation projects on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications. The successful candidate will lead electrical crews, coordinate with customers and other trades, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
Primary Duties
Lead and supervise electrical crews on industrial job sites.
Oversee electrical installations, troubleshooting, and project execution.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Coordinate daily activities with customers, project managers, and other trades.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
Monitor project progress, materials, manpower, and scheduling.
Provide direction and technical support to electricians and apprentices.
Identify and resolve on-site issues and coordinate required changes.
Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Travel to various customer sites, primarily within approximately one hour of Brantford.
Technical Requirements
Valid 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician license.
5+ years of experience overseeing electrical work on industrial job sites.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical installations and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently on-site.
Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code and applicable safety regulations.
Qualifications
309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician license is required.
5+ years of industrial electrical experience with proven supervisory/foreman experience.
Experience leading electrical crews and coordinating on-site activities.
Previous experience with industrial construction or automation projects is an asset.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Location: Brantford, ON
Salary Range: $52/hr - $56/hr + OT & Bonus
