Job Description


Electrician

If you are seeking an opportunity to work for an innovative manufacturer then this is your chance. Our customer is a leading edge, fast pace automotive manufacturer seeing a strong electrician to join their growing team.

What you bring to the table:
  • Hold a current provincial or inter-provincial Industrial Electrician ticket
  • Excellent sense of urgency and work ethic
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities:
  • PLC Troubleshooting (Siemens or Allen Bradley)
  • Position includes general machine maintenance and troubleshooting equipment repairs, equipment upgrades, equipment instillation, and preventative maintenance
  • Perform machinery startups and testing to ensure proper performance
  • Monitor daily machine/tool performance, perform regular checks, and implement actions to improve availability and yield
  • Complete and maintain maintenance documentation
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical designs and schematics

This would be an asset:
  • Working experience with robotics/laser cutters
  • Experience specifically with Siemens PLC’s

Location: Tri-City
Position Type: Permanent
Salary/Rate: Negotiable, based on experience. Benefits and Pension.
