Automation Engineer - Field Service Technician
Our customer is an industry leading Automation Builder/Integrator looking to add an Automation Engineer due to continued growth. The ideal candidate has experience in an Industrial Automation facility that specializes in design, build, and integration of their equipment.
Experience Programming Siemens/Allen Bradley PLC's and various HMI's is a must, knowledge of PC Based Controls is preferred but not required. Please note this is an intermediate to senior level role that offers a competitive rate along with benefits, bonus and stock options. Note there is a 50% travel requirement throughout North America and Internationally.
The skills and experience we need:
-Engineering Diploma or Degree, Electrical and/or Mechanical
-Experience with field integration and commissioning of automated systems
-Knowledge of PLC programming/troubleshooting and HMI’s. Working knowledge PC Based controls preferred
-Knowledge of robotics, hydraulic/pneumatic machinery
-Experience servicing automotive, food, or pharmaceutical sector
-Customer service experience as a field service technician, professional attitude
-Ability to work in a team of Engineers/Technicians
-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time in NA and Internationally, valid passport

Pay Rate/Benefits: 32/hr - 42/hr + paid OT, benefits, bonus, stock options, other perks.
