Job Description

itec group Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Industrial Health & Safety Supervisor for a client based in the Niagara region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees within our heavy industrial operations. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.  

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs
  • Conduct Inspections and Audits
  • Incident Investigation 
  • Training and Education 
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Risk Assessment
  • Emergency Response
  • Reporting
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a health and safety role within a heavy industrial setting.
  •  Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
