Job Description


itec group is looking for a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Designer that will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing hydraulic systems and components for heavy industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hydraulic engineering principles and experience in designing and troubleshooting hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop hydraulic systems and components for equipment, ensuring that they meet project specifications and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine designs, including mechanical and electrical engineers, and project managers
  • Conduct analysis and simulations to ensure hydraulic systems are efficient, reliable, and meet performance requirements
  • Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, bills of materials, and technical specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hydraulic system issues that arise during the manufacturing process, testing, or in the field
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source hydraulic components and ensure quality and reliability of components used in our equipment

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in hydraulic system design and development, preferably in an OEM manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic engineering principles, including fluid mechanics, pressure, flow, and temperature control
  • Experience with hydraulic simulation software, such as ANSYS or SIMULINK
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex hydraulic system issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a strong attention to detail and deadlines
