Job Description

Hydraulic Designer

Location - Sudbury
Salary Range: $100k to 110k + paid OT, benefits, bonus, pension

itec group is partnered with a manufacturer in the Heavy Equipment sector looking for an experienced Hydraulics Designer. This individual will play a critical role in designing and optimizing hydraulic systems for their mobile equipment, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and efficiency.
 
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and design hydraulic systems, circuits, and components for heavy mobile equipment, ensuring they meet functional requirements, safety standards, and performance specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate hydraulic systems into overall equipment designs, ensuring proper system performance and compatibility.
  • Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 2D and 3D hydraulic schematics, component layouts, and assembly drawings.


Mandatory Requirements:
  • Engineering Degree or Diploma
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hydraulic design, preferably in the heavy equipment or mobile machinery industry.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, fluid dynamics, and system design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and hydraulic simulation tools.
  • Experience with hydraulic circuit design, component selection, and system integration for heavy mobile equipment is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic components (e.g., pumps, valves, actuators, filters, accumulators) and their applications in mobile machinery.
