Job Description


IT Manager

In this challenging role, you’ll manage all aspects of IT operations for our Client’s Canadian office. You will be responsible for infrastructure and application support, including ERP, EDI processing, system integration, CRM solutions, telecom network admin, and project and other management functions.

Your main accountabilities include:
  • Responsible for local market IT technology roadmap
  • Be the voice between local management team, business needs and solutions teams, both regional and global
  • Manage projects as needed
  • Develop and manage cross-functional IT projects and infrastructure initiatives.
  • IT Systems maintenance and first-line support.
  • Responsible for protecting and managing all IT assets.
  • Creation of a cohesive infrastructure support team that supports infrastructure across the whole Americas region in coordination with other regions.
  • Co-creation and Implementation of new IT strategies, plans & policies to ensure good performance and best practices in the use of IT. 
  • Create a learning IT environment where new information is shared with users and training is available for self-improvement.
  • Attendance is required at regional and global meetings. Networking with peer managers across the company is critical for success.
  • Ability to prioritize the importance of on-going self-development and review of self-development by undertaking relevant training, whether this be local IT courses or on-the-job training by visiting IT specialists.
  • Must have the ability to create and influence processes across multiple countries.

What you bring to the table:
  • 7+ years IT experience
  • 2+ years’ of team lead or management experience
  • Experience working with ERP and EDI systems and understanding of factory production systems and how they interact with production apps
  • Strong project management skills
  • Above-average communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Degree in Comp. Science or a related field.
