Job Description

Industrial Electrician

Location - Mississauga
Salary Range: $40 - $44/hr

Our client is a manufacturer in the Packaging sector and is looking to hire a licensed Industrial Electrician for their opening on the day/afternoon rotating shift. The roles involve everything from troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment (presses, conveyors, robots), wiring/installation of new machinery, and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC’s. This is a permanent direct hire position.
 
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on automated production equipment
  • Machine installation/wiring
  • PLC Troubleshooting (Allen Bradley)
  • Facility Maintenance when required
  • Breakdown response of all production machinery in the plant
  • HMI troubleshooting
  • Mechanical troubleshooting if required
 
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Valid 442A or 309A Electrical License
  • PLC troubleshooting and robot troubleshooting experience
  • Read schematic drawings to repair equipment
 
Preferred Requirements:
  • Packaging manufacturing industry experience
