itec group is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager that will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities to ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and productivity. The role will require managing a team of maintenance technicians, implementing and managing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth and safe manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure that all manufacturing equipment and facilities are maintained in good working order.
Lead a team of maintenance technicians and manage their work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and training to support manufacturing operations.
Coordinate with production and engineering teams to identify equipment maintenance needs and schedule downtime to minimize production impact.
Develop and manage a preventive maintenance program to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate repairs with outside vendors as necessary.
Maintain and update equipment records, including maintenance schedules, repair history, and parts inventory.
Monitor and report on maintenance metrics, including equipment uptime, repair costs, and maintenance expenses.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to equipment maintenance and repair.
Qualifications:
Licensed 442A Electrician or 433A Millwright
Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
Experience managing a team of maintenance technicians and coordinating with other departments.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical data and make sound decisions based on that analysis.
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
