Maintenance Supervisor

The Opportunity:

itec group is partnered with an automotive global leader currently searching for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor at their facility in the Ingersoll region. The selected candidate will be directly responsible for the supervision of 10+ maintenance team members and confident with use of CMMS software. Please note this position does pay OT and there is a heavy OT requirement.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

         -Electrical or Mechanical trades ticket is required

        - 5+ years of experience preferably within the automotive manufacturing field

  -Knowledge of presses, metal forming machinery, and hydraulics

         -Strong scheduling experience using CMMS software

         -Experience executing and auditing preventative maintenance

        - Strong mentor with the ability to get the most out of his/her team 

    

RESPONSIBILITIES:

      -Coordinate the activities in the daily operations and functions of the maintenance process    -Manage, initiate, control and direct the activities of employees and equipment within the department     

       -Ensure parts supplies are available in order to properly maintain essential equipment

-Ensure training and manage daily activities for maintenance staff to support a 3 shift operation

       -Keep current records of all problems and remedies and ensure accuracy

       -Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures

       -Supervisory responsibilities to include interviewing, hiring,training new employees, planning, assigning and directing work, performance appraisals, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving concerns

 

Location: Ingersoll, Ontario 

Position Type: Permanent, Full time 

Salary: $95k to 100k + paid OT, benefits, pension

Shift - Day/Afternoon rotating OR Afternoon
