Job Description

itec group is currently recruiting for an experienced Materials Manager for a Manufacturer in the GTA. The successful candidate will have proven leadership ability and a strong background in Materials Management  within a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity to join a company that is truly invested in their employees, the community and the environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for a Kanban system for materials
  • oversee the work of buyers and planners
  • All release of  materials and commodities
  • Coordinating all outside services
  • Forecasting of requirements
  • Liaise with all internal departments for continued communication
  • Create key KPIs for supply chain
Qualifications:
  • 3 or more years experience in a supervisory/management role
  • Previous use of MRP systems
  • APICS or CAPIC Certification an asset
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
