Job Description

The Mechanical Design Supervisor will oversee design teams and projects related to nuclear engineering and innovative R&D efforts. This position requires an experienced leader proficient in developing design concepts, supervising engineering workflows, and utilizing SolidWorks for high-quality design outputs. The successful candidate will ensure projects align with industry standards, safety protocols, and company objectives  

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage design teams to develop mechanical systems for nuclear and R&D projects.
  • Oversee the development of design concepts, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Utilize SolidWorks to create, review, and refine detailed 3D models and drawings.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
  • Coordinate project timelines and deliverables to meet critical milestones.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with substantial exposure to nuclear projects.
  • Proven experience in leading design teams and managing complex projects.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and detailed design.
  • Strong understanding of nuclear engineering principles and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated success in R&D projects and developing innovative solutions.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
