Job Description

Mechanical Designer
Our client a North GTA Custom Machine Builder is seeking to add Mechanical Designer to their team for a permanent job opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design, prototyping, and development of mechanical systems and components.
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tests to validate and optimize designs for functionality, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components, ensuring compliance with project specifications
Support product documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), technical specifications, and user manuals

Qualifications:

5+ years of Mechanical Design experience
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
