We are currently seeking a Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) to join a dynamic maintenance team within a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of production and packaging equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in preventative maintenance programs, equipment reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement projects. RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems throughout the facility
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment
Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions to minimize downtime
Install, modify, and upgrade production equipment as required
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards
Experience within a food manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems
Experience maintaining automated production and packaging equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation
Welding, fabrication, and machining experience considered an asset
Strong commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
Location: Hamilton, ON
Compensation: $42–$44/hour + Comprehensive Benefits Package + RRSP Program
