Join a well-established food manufacturing operation where you’ll play a critical role in keeping production running smoothly.
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on production and packaging equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
Work within refrigerated areas of the facility as required
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
Install, align, and commission new machinery and production lines
Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to food safety standards
Experience working in a manufacturing environment (food or beverage preferred)
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Ability to work rotating continental shifts
Comfortable working in refrigerated/cold environments as needed
Knowledge of health & safety and food safety regulations
Ability to work effectively in a unionized environment
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in food or beverage manufacturing
Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with automated production and packaging equipment
Experience with CMMS systems for maintenance tracking
Strong team collaboration and communication skills
Location: Hamilton, Ontario Salary Range: $44/hour (union environment, additional premiums may apply)
