Paint Process Engineer

itec group is currently recruiting for an experienced Paint Process Engineer to join an indsutry leading manufacturing company. The successful candidate will have previous experience with the paint process and application, and experience in manufacturing preferably within an automotive environment. This is a great opportunity to join a growing dynamic company with competitive salary, a comprehensive benefit package, and career growth opportunities.

The Paint Process Engineer responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Ensure paint process running optimally
  • Responsible for making sure complete painting operations are functioning properly and parameters are correct 
  • Actively involved with new product launches
  • Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for paint process related concerns
  • Leads the improvement of paint processes and equipment 
  • Resolve any paint process related problems
  • Directing the development and improvement of assembly and automation manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Review of paint process and operator instructions to ensure accuracy

What you bring to the table:
  • Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 yrs. experience in a paint process function
  • Knowledge and experience with paint parameters  
  • Manufacturing environment experience preferably within automotive sector
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively work with various departments
  • Ability to Liaise and lead efficiently at all levels of the organization
