Job Description


 

itec group is recruiting for a Procurement Manager that has a minimum of 5 years of leadership/mentorship experience within a manufacturing environment.
  As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain activities related to these critical materials and inventory   Responsibilities: 
  • Manage supplier relationships, including regular communication, performance evaluations, and resolution of any issues or disputes that may arise.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives, such as bulk purchasing, supplier consolidation, and inventory optimization, to achieve budgetary targets and improve overall procurement efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the copper and aluminum markets
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement team, encouraging innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional development among team members.
Qualifications:
  • 5 + years experience in Procurement Management, including managing a team of 5 or more.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a keen attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are a plus.
