Production Planner/Scheduler

Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the Guelph region, is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to join their team for a permanent job opportunity. Reporting to the Production Control Manager, the Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for incoming and outgoing material flow, Scheduling machinery and creating spreadsheets via ERP data. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of Scheduling in a fast paced manufacturing environment. The Buyer job responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

  • Scheduling Machinery within the production facility

  • Obtain the best overall terms for production related components

  • Provide monthly cost saving reports tracked by company KPI’s

  • Working with logistics to ensure goods are released and delivered on-time

Qualifications:

  • University Degree or College Diploma

  • APICS designation is a definite asset

  • Working knowledge of an ERP system
