Production Supervisor

Our client, a global manufacturer within the food industry is seeking an up-and-coming Production Supervisor lead their day and afternoon shift. 

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and packing team, along with working with various cross-functional departments including Quality and Maintenance.  

The Production Supervisor Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Supervise a team of manufacturing and packaging operators and ensure the targets are met on a consistent basis
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment is maintained at all times and participate in safety audits as needed
  • Participate in the internal Quality audits and perform quality checks
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting of manufacturing and packaging operations
  • Provide team members with clear, accurate, and timely instructions both verbal and written
