Project Manager - High Rise Construction - Waterloo, ON
 
Our client, a Prime Contractor for high rise construction projects in the southwestern ON area. They are seeking to add an experienced Sr. Project Manager to execute projects effectively and efficiently. This is a permanent job opportunity. Reporting directly to the President/Director of construction.

The Project Manager will be responsible:

  • Full cycle decision making over multiple projects, from start up, budgeting and scheduling, to project closeouts

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including building departments, government regulatory bodies, engineers, architects and other consultants

  • Complete review of building material, construction methods relate to building performance, job budgetand job schedule

  • Site Visits, Safety,

  • Utilize construction tools to manage and maintain job schedules. Example - Microsoft Project Professional

  • Management of estimates, BIDs, Pricing, coordinating subcontractors, client billings, approvals and expedite change order approvals
 
Qualifications:

  • CET Diploma

  • 10 years experience as a Project Manager for High Rise Construction industry

  • Execution of Project $10 Million

  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written

  • Ability to Review and adjust drawings to OBC

  • Strong computer Skills - MS office

  • Willingness to travel; a valid driver’s license is required.
