Location - Innisfil, ON Salary Range - $85k to 95k + Bonus, Benefits, RRSP Match
Our client is a manufacturer in the HVAC sector looking to hire a Product Engineer within their R&D Team. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure the successful development and performance of new HVAC products.
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Product Design & Development: Involvement in the design, prototyping, and development of HVAC products, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and efficiency standards.
Engineering Analysis: Perform thermal, fluid dynamics, and mechanical analysis to optimize HVAC systems for performance and energy efficiency
Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with product managers and other engineers to ensure product designs align with customer requirements and market trends.
Component Selection & Specification: Select and specify materials, components, and suppliers, ensuring the product’s functionality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the development of prototypes and coordinate testing procedures to validate product designs and performance standards.
Manufacturing Support: Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during production, ensuring design specifications are met and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure HVAC products comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and safety requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze product performance post-launch and implement improvements or optimizations based on feedback and market demands.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of design processes, test results, and product specifications.
Design - Proficiency with 3-D Modeling Software (Solidworks)
Mandatory Requirements:
Engineering Diploma or Degree preferably Electrical or Mechanical
3+ years of Product Development experience within the HVAC field
Proficiency with 3-D Modeling Software (Solidworks)
