Job Description
PLC Programmer
itec group has partnered with an industry leading Manufacturer of custom Automation on a search for a full-time PLC Programmer. If you are passionate about electrical design engineering, then this is your chance to join an innovative design team and work with a great Leader. The successful candidate must have high level proficiency in Allen Bradley. This is an opportunity to join an elite engineering team and work on highly custom automation projects from cradle to the grave.

What you bring to the table:
-
Electrical Degree / Diploma
-
Minimum of 5 years of custom automation experience
-
Ability to write and program PLC’s from scratch
-
Excellent AB skills,
-
Strong working experience with servo’s, pneumatics, HMI’s, SCADA, VFD’s etc.
-
Proven working experience with custom automation / pick and place
-
Ability to manage projects from the intake session to installation
-
Ability / willingness to travel within NA a must
Responsibilities:
-
Work with customers from the intake session on all new machinery
-
Liaison with mechanical, purchasing and shop teams
-
Design, program and commission PLC, HMI and SCADA automation solutions for custom machinery
