We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Territory Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales within the Vancouver area, focusing on industrial products. This individual will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Territory Management:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
Identify and prioritize key accounts and prospects within the territory.
Regularly assess market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
New Business Development:
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other prospecting activities.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business opportunities.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to align sales strategies and support overall business objectives.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Proven track record of success in industrial sales, with at least [X] years of experience.
Strong understanding of industrial products and the ability to articulate technical specifications to clients.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
