Job Description

Tool and Die Maker

Location - Woodbridge, ON
Salary Range: $40 - $43/hr

itec group is partnered with an established Automotive plant in Wodbridge looking to hire an experienced Tool & Die Maker due to growth. This is a permanent full time position that requires experience with maintenance of transfer/progressive presses, hydraulics, and machining/welding among other responsibilities. This is a permanent full time position on the Night shift that offers 4 week vacation, RRSP match, benefits, and a profit sharing bonus along with a competitive salary. 
 
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Maintenance of presses (transfer/progressive)
  • Jig/Fixture design
  • Completes daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checklists and maintains records of scheduled maintenance
  • Operate lathes and milling machines
  • Welding, Fabrication
  • Hydraulic/Pneumatic equipment repair 

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Tool & Die Maker C of Q
  • Proven experience in a Tool and Die Shop, automotive preferably 
  • Good communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
 
Preferred Requirements:
  • Automotive industry experience
