Job Description
Tooling Engineer
itec group Inc. is currently recruiting for a Tooling Engineer who will report to the Engineering Manager. This position is located in the Golden horseshoe region. As a creative and talented engineer you will oversee the design and manufacturing of new tooling as well as execute changes and refurbishment of existing tooling to meet compliance to specifications.
Key Qualifications include but are not limited to:

Degree, Diploma or Tool & Die Ticket
-
5 + years of Tooling experience in a DieCast environment
-
Work independently with attention to detail, organized and professional

Strong MS office and 3D Cad skills
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-
Attend all meetings, tool trials and arrange vendor visits as well as assisting with external tryouts

Provide tooling schedules, reports and develop PM program DieCast
-
Initiate new technologies to aid in creating improved lead times, process control and overall component qualifications

Liaise with,source and evaluate departments/vendors in the selection process of awarding DieCast

Support/follow up on tool repairs and requirements and recommend improvements
