Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor

Location - Mississauga
Salary Range: 100k to 120k

itec group is partnered with an established manufacturer within the Packaging sector in search of a Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate will have experience overseeing a fast paced manufacturing facility with automated equipment that includes presses, metal forming machinery, conveyors, and robotics. This is a full time position offering a competitive salary along with benefits, bonus, and pension matching. 

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Scheduling hours and PM schedules
  • Coordinate maintenance department meetings
  • Oversee 7+ maintenance team members across multiple shifts
  • Organizes/delegates work day for direct reports and follow-up
  • Familiarity with hands-on maintenance of Presses and metal forming equipment
  • Scheduling maintenance tasks for all machinery and the facility
 
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Experience with maintenance of Presses and Metal Forming machinery
  • Experience overseeing Toolmakers, Millwrights, and Electricians
  • Electrician/Millwright/Tool & Die License OR Engineering Diploma/Degree
  • Good safety track record and attitude towards an injury free environment
  • Experience with CMMS
  • Project management experience helpful; can include quoting/costing of material/labour/utility
 
Preferred Requirements:
  • Packaging manufacturing industry experience
