Vice President of Purchasing
Our customer is a leading tier one automotive company that specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of high-quality automotive components and systems. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Purchasing to lead our procurement efforts and contribute to our continued growth and success.
As the Vice President of Purchasing, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic purchasing initiatives that drive cost efficiency, supplier collaboration, and ensure the timely availability of high-quality components for our manufacturing processes. You will lead a skilled team of procurement professionals and work cross-functionally with various departments, including Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Quality Assurance, to achieve our operational and business objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience in strategic procurement, supply chain management, and vendor relations within the automotive or manufacturing industry.

Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts, terms, and pricing agreements.

In-depth knowledge of global sourcing, supply chain optimization, and procurement best practices.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in using procurement and supply chain management software tools.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across various organizational levels.

Familiarity with automotive industry regulations, quality standards, and relevant compliance requirements.
