Job Description

itec group is recruiting for an experienced and skilled Welding Supervisor to lead a team of welders and oversee all welding operations. As a Welding Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that welding projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of welders and oversee all welding operations in the organization.
Develop welding procedures and ensure that they are followed by all welders.
Train and mentor new welders to ensure they are proficient in welding techniques and safety practices.
Monitor and maintain welding equipment to ensure it is in good working order and comply with safety regulations.
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Schedule and coordinate welding projects and ensure that they are completed within the allotted timeframe.
Liaise with other departments to ensure that welding projects align with the organization's overall goals.
Develop and implement safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all welders.
Maintain accurate records of all welding activities and materials used.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a welding apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in welding, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of welding procedures and techniques, as well as welding equipment and materials.
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and train a team of welders.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with other departments.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Understanding of welding safety regulations and practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
